Generally, our pattern of Sunday worship takes place as below. This sometimes changes when we celebrate festivals such as Easter and Christmas. You can check what's on on our homepage for this week, and check the Calendar for further ahead. If in doubt, please feel free to contact us by email or call the church office on 01223 846096.

The Third Sunday Service 10.00am
The third Sunday in the month offers a different sort of service for all ages. The 'Third Sunday Service', which begins at 10am, lasts only 45 minutes. There is space for quiet prayer and reflection, or space to make and create. Nobody need do anything that they do not wish to do, but there should be an opportunity for everyone to take part in the service in a way which works for them.
Experience suggests that this service (which does not include Holy Communion) provides an excellent way for children to take part in a service which they really enjoy, while parents and other adults can worship without worrying about what the children are up to! Older members of the congregation have also found they enjoy the space to reflect that the service provides. All this, and coffee and juice available during the service. Come and give it a try!

Evening Worship 6.30pm
Come and explore different ways to worship and pray and make time for God at Evening Worship every fourth Sunday of the month. These services are intended to provide visitors or newcomers with a more informal experience of church, and/or to give space for our regular congregation to experience different styles.
Coming up next: 'All over the world': an opportunity to worship with Christian traditions from across the globe to celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit. Including elements from Assyria, India, Ghana and Barbados.
To give you a flavour of what you might find, previous services were as follows:
October 2011: we used material from the Iona community in a reflective service inspired by the ancient Celtic traditions to celebrate Bible Sunday.
November 2011: we marked the start of Advent with a beautiful, moving Taize service led by Elisabeth Rutherford. With simple songs and instrumental music, passages from scripture and space for attentive silence we explored the Advent theme of 'waiting'.
January 2012: Steve Harris our curate led us in a reflection on Praise, Confession and Thanksgiving.
February 2012: Homerton Charter Choir added beautiful music to this month's series of music and readings for Lent where poems and Bible readings explored the theme of 'True and False Worship'.
March 2012: we prepared for Holy week and Easter by using Richard Tebbs's dramatised readings to draw near to Jesus through the imagined eyes of those who saw him then, such as Pilate's wife, the Jerusalem gatekeeper, and the son of Simon who carried the cross.
April 2012: 'Stations of the Resurrection' explored the abundance of new life offered in the resurrection through a journey around the church, with prayers and readings at each station.
We often join with our partner parishes of Grantchester & Newnham for a combined act of worship. Please refer to the Calendar.
Holy Communion 10.30am (followed by coffee in the Bakehouse).
